Monthly Market Update – December 2013

Monthly Market Update – November 2013

The video above talks about how the real estate market has slowed in the last month or so. This is a function of two things:

  • Our normal seasonal sales pattern for the last ¼ of the year is to be slower than the first ¾ of the year. We normally see the market cool starting in November. I would not be surprised if the statistics for December were similar.
  • As far as November 2013 being slower than November 2012, …2012 was a very good year and I am not concerned that this fall is not doing as well as last fall.

Thinking of buying a home?   Resale or New Construction?

New home construction has increased dramatically.  Low interest rates, affordable home prices, and limited existing home inventory have increased the demand for new homes.
